Sony 6GB NW-A1000 Network Walkman reviewed

Sony 6GB NW-A1000 Network Walkman reviewed - Engadget - www.engadget.com: "We just spotted a review of Sony’s new NW-A1000 6GB Network Walkman on French site generationmp3, and besides the crappy Connect software required to load tunes, they recommend the player for all your Supreme NTM and MC Solaar listening needs. As you no doubt recall, the A1000 is both ATRAC and MP3 capable, contains some innovative features like a “similar artist” button, and comes in a small, curvy, glossy case. It’s no surprise, then, that this unit gets high marks for design and ergonomics, but also for sound quality and battery life. Besides the Connect app, generationmp3 also harshs on Sony’s frustrating inclusion of a proprietary USB cable, and the rather slow transfer/load speeds, but overall, find it to be a worthy competitor to the iPods, Zens, and iRivers of the world."
