Nubrella: tomorrow's fashion mistake, today!
Engadget: "This is frankly brilliant. A hands-free umbrella is perfect for walking to work while yapping on your phone with one hand and cradling a cup of coffee with the other. Unfortunately it's just never going to make it past the "my friends will laugh at me" stage, because they will. They will laugh so very hard. It's a cruel, backwards society we live in, and it's no wonder we don't have flying cars yet. That said, you can destroy your own fashion credibility today for a mere $59.99. Maybe the fanny pack types will accept you, but we can't make any guarantees."
FF: "Thats awesome~"

Namco blames Wii for arcade closures in Japan
FF: "Namco Bandai is shuttering between 50 and 60 arcades in Japan, and it's laying the blame squarely on Nintendo's shoulders. "A lot of the types of games that people played at an arcade can now be done at home," said company spokesman Yuji Machida. Namco figures that Japanese kids are saving up their pocket money to buy the latest and greatest Wii game or accessory, which is clearly unacceptable. Sega Sammy also has plans to close about 100 of its arcades, but there's no word of finger pointing from that camp."
FF: "Oh? r they planning to close their arcades in HK as well? Noooooooo"

Edison & Gillian Sex Tape?
Danny Cheng: "Hong Kong Police, please stop arrestin innocent people, even Sex tapes are nothing new, PEacE~"
Batgwa: "The controversy surrounding the sexually explicit photos allegedly of Edison Chen (陳冠希) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐) continues to rock Hong Kong. Because the photos appear to be screencaps from a video, there are rumours aplenty on internet discussion boards that there is a sex tape.
With this amount of media frenzy for photos, one can only imagine what may come about if there is a tape and it becomes public.
Sex tapes are nothing new. They have launched careers, boosted careers and brought down careers. Here are some you may remember...
Rob Lowe & two females (1988)
The St. Elmo's Fire and The Outsiders actor's career went down the potty when a tape of him having sex with two females became public. One of the girls turned out to be underage. Oh dear! Rob later checked himself into rehab for alcohol and sex addiction. His career has more recently bounced back with programmes like The West Wing.
Pamela Anderson & Tommy Lee (1998)
The sex tape which inspired all later sex tapes – this was made before everyone had a digicam and sex tapes started appearing as frequently as Hollywood blockbusters. Pammy and her then husband filmed their sexual exploits on their honeymoon. The tape was stolen by IEG, a company which was a pioneer of internet porn. Pammy and Tommy sued and got awarded $1.5m plus legal fees.
Baek Ji Young & Kim Si Won (2000)
A tape of the Korean pop starlet in a bedroom romp with her ex-manager turned up on internet pay-per-view. Radio stations pulled her songs off the air and TV stations cancelled her scheduled appearances. However, Ji Young refused to go down quietly. She said she did not know about being filmed and publicly attacked Si Won. Her career did not sink, but never reached and will probably never reach the heady heights some say she could have achieved without the scandal.
Chu Mei-Feng & Tseng Chung-Ming (2001)
Mei-Feng, a Taiwanese politician, and Chung-Ming, a dot-com businessman, were caught on film having sex. It didn't help their public images when someone pointed out that his company had just won the contract to maintain the website for Hsinchu City's Bureau of Cultural Affairs, which she chaired at the time. And it didn't help that he was married. Oops.
Paris Hilton & Rick Salomon (2004)
The hotel heiress and her then boyfriend filmed themselves having sex. Paris tried to stop the tape from being released by claiming she was "out of it" when it was filmed and by suing Rick, and he countersued her for defamation. The footage was released under the title 1 Night in Paris. The couple settled out of court. There were varying reports that Paris received a license fee or receives royalty payments for the video, although she has denied this.
Colin Farrell & Nicole Narain (2006)
The Daredevil and Alexander actor tried to stop a sex tape he had made with the Playboy Playmate being released. But, guess what? The tape turned up on the internet anyway. Colin accused Nicole of profiting from the tape but she denied this. They settled out of court.
Dustin Diamond & his bride-to-be (2006)
Dustin (aka Screech from Saved by the Bell), his bride-to-be, her bridesmaid and his friend featured in a sex tape titled Screeched and Saved by the Smell (the video features a Dirty Sanchez – the sexual practice of smearing poo under the nose of your partner). Dustin's manager admitted the video was released deliberately to up the profile of the actor who was in debt.
